April means many things to me. Most of all, it means spring is beginning. Here in south-eastern Pennsylvania, the weather is much warmer and the soil is giving us green grass and early spring flowers. These were planted by a former resident of our new house. what a wonderful surprise.
Only a couple of weeks left till the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival
The lambs are all in. For those going to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, it is time to get prepped and learn some show ring skills. We are hoping to take the Sr ram lamb Angelo (Anchorage Farm 1130-13 - Foster Farm 272) , taller ram in rear, the Jr Ram Lamb Lorenzo ( Anchorage Farms 1130-13 - Anchorage Farm 877-10 BW) Both are for sale. Also Jr ewe lamb Cream (large lamb in front) also for sale.
We will also be showing our Yearling Ram Pegasus aka Pitchfork 801 and Yearling Ewe Colette aka Stirling Brook101
These two are not going to the festival, they are too young, but they had to be in the pictures. This is Scarlet and Bianca, hamming it up.
