We have moved Stirling Brook Sheep farm to the rolling hills of southeastern Pennsylvania. We are in the town of Hanover, living on what is known as Hanover Shoe Farm. This farm is the oldest and largest Standardbred breeding farm in the United States.
The sheep have had all of this years lambs and must now settle into life in Pennsylvania. Hanover Shoe Farms was kind enough to let us use some empty small fields for the sheep. These fields were originally for some rescue horses from Maryland, but those horses are now rehomed and the fields were empty.
Unfortunately we lost our dear Crimson this year, shortly after she gave birth to twin ewe lambs. Lollipop stepped in and adopted them. This is quite the job for a first time mom.
So life continues here by the brook. (yes we even have a nearby brook here as well, we will need to get pictures of)
